Pansies

Peace Light Life

Good morning!

How are you all? Hope you are enjoying the springtime weather! This time of year with the flowers blooming and all the colors popping really is my favorite time of the year! The miracle of life all around us!! Just wanted to share this painting of pansies. Last evening I took the grand babies out and could not help but crack out the paper and paints. I ended up using my fingers my fingers for lack of brushes and I wanted to see what would happen with the paints, how they would flow and the amount of control that I had with them. The above is how they turned out. Pretty satisfying with the color blend and bleeds!

I also wanted to let you all know that I have a painting of Sickman’s Mill in the Steinmetz gallery out in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. It’s a painting that I did a whole year ago with the Lancaster County Art Association with the their plein aire group. Anyway, I hope you enjoy these two paintings, and I hope you’re able to make it out to the Steinmetz gallery sometime this month. This Springtime show lasts until the end of the month and it features a variety of artists. Thank you so much for meeting me here again. Wishing you the best!!
